Job ID: 43290

Job Type: Temp To Direct Hire

Category: Maintenance

Location: Calgary, Alberta

Work Model: Fully in Office

Our client is an established organization within the commercial aviation industry, operating a large and highly active facility supporting aircraft, ground operations, and specialized services. They are looking for a hands-on Facilities & Fleet Maintenance Technician to join their team and support the Facility & Fleet Manager with keeping day-to-day operations safe, functional, and running smoothly.

This company has a great team and a collaborative, supportive culture where safety, professionalism, accountability, and teamwork are highly valued.

This is also a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their skills and build their career. While experience in facilities, fleet, or maintenance is important, our client understands that the right person may not have experience with everything the role encompasses. They are happy to provide training, mentorship, and hands-on support to someone who brings a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, a willingness to learn, and the right cultural fit.

If you’re someone who notices what needs to be done, enjoys troubleshooting, and takes pride in maintaining a safe and well-organized environment, this could be a great opportunity for you.

  • Support internal and external events and provide operational assistance to other teams, including vehicle movement, parking, baggage room activities, and general facility requirements.
  • Complete other facility, fleet, and operational duties as assigned.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow through to completion.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to identify what needs to be done without always being asked.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work professionally with employees, tenants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • The ability to remain calm, organized, and safety-focused in a busy operational environment.
  • A strong sense of accountability and pride in maintaining a safe, clean, functional, and professional facility.
