About Staffing Ltd. was started in 1996
by Sharlene Massie, while living in a hotel room, with literally nothing but gritty determination and client support.
Today, About Staffing is a multi-million dollar agency, providing high-quality placements in a variety of workplace environments. About Staffing is a leader in the employment industry and can back that up with the many successes they have had over the past 11years. |
Most recently Sharlene was awarded Calgary’s “White Hat,” for her dedication and commitment to the Calgary community. In June of 2006, About Staffing won in the small business category for 'Best Places to Work' in Calgary, by Calgary Inc. magazine. About Staffing won the 2005 Southern Alberta Better Business Bureau Ethics Award, and Sharlene has been named Global Woman of Vision for April 2005. She was chosen as one of Calgary Inc. Magazine's Top 40 Under 40 for 2004.
Her popular weekly staffing articles appear each Sunday in the Calgary Sun Careers section, and focus on employee and employer issues in today's labour market. Sharlene appears regularly on City TV's Breakfast Television, offering her opinions on the staffing industry and tips/advice for both employers and job seekers.
